Ms Chin Wei Jia is the Executive Director and Group CEO of HMI Medical, a leading integrated healthcare group in Southeast Asia. Since joining in 2002, she has held various senior leadership positions, including Group General Manager and CEO of Regency Specialist Hospital in Malaysia. Appointed Group CEO in 2015, Wei Jia has led HMI Medical through a defining decade of digital transformation, capability building and strategic expansion.

Under her leadership, HMI Medical has broadened its ecosystem through organic growth and mergers and acquisitions, strengthening its service portfolio across primary care, telemedicine, diagnostics, ambulatory and specialty care, tertiary hospitals, healthcare training, and corporate health administration. The Group also introduced next-generation innovations such as AI-enabled diagnostics, smart wards and robotic-assisted surgery, while expanding centres of excellence and preventive care programs. Today, HMI Medical serves over 3 million lives annually across its digital and physical platforms.

Wei Jia is actively involved in shaping the broader business and digital landscape, and was named EY Entrepreneur of the Year Singapore in 2025. She currently serves as a Board Member of the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). She is also a Council Member of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and an active Member of the Malaysia-Singapore Business Council and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s (SCCCI) Career Women’s Group Committee. She previously served as a Member of the Public Guardian Advisory Committee and Board Member of Enterprise Singapore (ESG).

Wei Jia holds a Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude) in Economics and International Relations from Boston University, and a Master of Arts in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University.
