Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA)

Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) is one of the most common sleep-related breathing disorders where breathing is obstructed during sleep due to an upper airway obstruction. If left untreated, OSA can lead to health problems that include hypertension, or even stroke, memory issues, and heart problems such as heart failure. Book an appointment with a specialist today for an effective treatment of OSA.

Diagnostic sleep study

A diagnostic sleep study is an overnight test conducted in a sleep laboratory or at home to diagnose sleep disorders. During the study, various components such as brain waves/activity, sleep stages, muscle and breathing movements, heart rate and oxygen levels are recorded and analysed during sleep. Specific components recorded may vary depending on the type of sleep study conducted.
