Dr. Gary Yoong , Senior Consultant Physician in the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at HMI Medical Center, pointed out that radiologists' income is usually directly proportional to their workload; the more images they review and the more imaging reports they complete, the higher their income will be. He believes that the officially announced median total monthly salary of 20,000 yuan is roughly in line with the actual situation in the industry.
