Best Managed Companies is a flagship program presented by Deloitte Private, a division of Deloitte exclusively focused on serving private clients of all sizes. Now in its fourth year in Singapore, this prestigious program honours ten outstanding local businesses for their organisational achievements and impactful contributions to their industries and the economy.

To attain a Best Managed Company designation, applicants went through a rigorous assessment conducted by a panel of independent and multi-disciplinary judges. Their evaluation was centred around the program ‘s four pillars: strategy, culture and commitment, capabilities and innovation, as well as governance and financials. This evaluation framework draws on Deloitte’s benchmarking of top private companies worldwide over more than 30 years of the awards’ global history.

This year, HMI Medical, was awarded as a first-time winner of the Singapore Best Managed Companies 2024. During the assessment process, the independent judging panel unanimously agreed that HMI epitomises the essence of a Best Managed Company through its sound and deliberate strategy to provide patient-centric healthcare across the region, robust financial performance and governance and its visionary, growth-driven corporate culture.

Chin Wei Jia, Group CEO of HMI Medical said "we are humbled yet honoured to be recognised as a first-time winner of this prestigious business award, especially at a time where we have refreshed and strengthened our brand strategy. This achievement was made possible through the collaborative efforts across our group and a collective belief that healthcare is more than patient care. Together, we will strive to continue delivering healthcare differently to help people live heathier for longer. We look forward to being a part of an esteemed business community as we learn and share best business management practices across sectors."
