CNA TV - Overseas MediSave: JB hospital's Singapore patients double

In this CNA report, Regency Specialist Hospital, the only private hospital in Johor Bahru participating in Singapore's overseas MediSave scheme, says Singapore patient numbers have doubled since the pandemic. Ninety per cent are women, mostly seeking maternity care. The only other participating hospital is Mahkota Medical Centre in Melaka.

The report also hears from a financial adviser who notes that while treatment across the Causeway can cost less, patients should weigh travel, accommodation, time off work and insurance coverage, which can change the overall picture.
