Dr Rohit Khurana is a general cardiologist and coronary intervention specialist in Singapore who treats coronary artery disease and blocked arteries through catheter-based procedures, including coronary angioplasty and stenting. His work incorporates routine use of intravascular imaging. He also has a special interest in complex coronary disease, including chronic total occlusions and as a possible option for surgical disease. He is familiar with atherectomy solutions and adjunctive left ventricular assist devices for higher risk cases. He routinely uses CT-guidance to optimize the approach to achieving good outcomes for his patients.

He also manages resistant hypertension, having introduced renal denervation as a treatment option in Singapore. He has been introduced to newer techniques including trans-radial approaches to denervation.

Dr Khurana works with structural heart teams to optimally support his patients where percutaneous structural heart interventions are the preferred treatment strategy for patients with valvular heart disease.

Dr Khurana studied medicine at the University of Oxford, is a Fulbright Scholar and holds a PhD from the University of London, together with FRCP (UK), FESC, and FACC. He previously served as a Consultant Cardiologist at the National Heart Centre Singapore and was an Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School.
