Dr Kong Yan Ling is a Ministry of Health-accredited Consultant Dermatologist with expertise spanning paediatric dermatology, general dermatology, aesthetic dermatology, and skin surgery.

She graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2011, having made the Dean’s List multiple times for academic excellence. She went on to complete her specialist training in Dermatology and was awarded the national Gold Medal in 2018 for being the top candidate in the Dermatology Exit Examination.

Driven by a commitment to lifelong learning, Dr Kong pursued further qualifications in the UK, obtaining a Diploma in Practical Dermatology in 2020 and a Master of Science in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University in 2021.

Prior to entering private practice, she served as a Consultant Dermatologist at the National Skin Centre (NSC) and Visiting Consultant at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. During her time at NSC, she was also actively involved in medical education as a clinical tutor with both the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS) and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (NTU). She held leadership roles including Assistant Chief Registrar and was a recipient of the Ego–NSC Registrar Fellowship, which included an overseas stint in Melbourne, Australia.

Dr Kong is actively engaged in dermatology research, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters, particularly in paediatric dermatology. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (Dermatology), and a member of the Dermatological Society of Singapore, the Asian Society of Pediatric Dermatology, and the International Society of Pediatric Dermatology.
