Introduction
Dr Chong Weiliang, a Specialist Urologist, is known for his dedicated focus on men’s health and reproductive medicine, as well as his expertise in advanced minimally invasive endourological treatments for stone disease.
He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2008 and was elected a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2014. He completed his specialist training in Urology and was conferred Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine Singapore in 2020. He is currently also a Visiting Consultant at the National University Hospital.
Dr Chong is recognised for his expertise in the management of kidney stone disease, including flexible uretero-renoscopy and minimally invasive endourological techniques. His clinical and research interests in endourology focus on intra-renal pressure control, procedural safety during laser lithotripsy and the development of innovative endoscopic scopes and access sheath designs, with the aim of improving surgical outcomes and patient safety.
In addition to endourology, Dr Chong has a strong subspeciality interest in men’s health and andrology. His clinical practice encompasses the diagnosis and treatment of male fertility, hypogonadism, Peyronie’s disease, penile rehabilitation, and complex sexual disorders. He provides comprehensive medical and procedural management for conditions affecting sexual function, penile curvature, hormonal balance, and reproductive health. He also offers premarital screening and counselling as part of a holistic approach to men’s reproductive health.
