Chin Yee is the Chief Executive Officer of Mahkota Medical Centre (MMC). She began her journey with MMC over two decades ago as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and has since ascended through the ranks within the organisation.

She achieved ISO 15189 certification for Mahkota Medical Laboratory in 2011 and has successfully led the laboratory team in renewing this certification every three years since then. With a great passion for quality and safety, she has played a pivotal role in supporting MMC's various accreditation programs. She was instrumental in MMC’s acquisition of the JCI-Clinical Care Programme Certification (CCPC) Accreditation for Breast Cancer and in achieving MMC’s status as one of the finalists in the Flagship Medical Tourism Hospital Programme (FMTHP) by the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC).

Chin Yee was also exposed to different departments in the hospital before taking up her current position, from front-line to backroom operations, and worked closely with the marketing team, traveling to foreign countries to promote Mahkota Medical Centre. Her achievements were highlighted at the 16th Annual Global Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Summit and Awards™ 2024, where she received the Silver Award for the Empowerment of Women.

Chin Yee holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from National Yang-Ming University, Taiwan and a Master of Business Administration from Multimedia University, Malaysia.
