Mr Stanley Lam is the newly appointed CEO of HMI Malaysia.

In his new appointment, Stanley works closely with HMI’s executive leadership team and board of directors to chart the growth plans for Malaysia as they respond to the ever-growing health needs of local and international patients in the region. In addition, he will provide strategic direction to grow the capabilities of HMI’s established hospitals in Malaysia and lead the development of new healthcare facilities as well. Stanley will also drive performance and business synergies as well as oversee HMI Malaysia’s business operations and centralised group functions to further grow HMI’s workforce.

Prior to being the CEO of HMI Medical in Malaysia, Stanley was the CEO of Mahkota Medical Centre (MMC) for more than 10 years and earned not just the accolade of longest-serving CEO but also distinguished himself with numerous achievements. During his tenure, he led MMC to be the first hospital in Malacca to obtain JCI accreditation and re-accreditation, and the first hospital in Malaysia to achieve JCI Clinical Care Programme Certification (CCPC). He also oversaw sustained growth and steered MMC through COVID-19, and positioned MMC to be shortlisted as one of the four flagship medical tourism hospitals in Malaysia.

Stanley is a certified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA as well as a member of the Association Of Private Hospitals, Malaysia (APHM).
