Dr. Walter Lim, began his career as a physician at Singapore General Hospital and various SingHealth group institutions. With over twenty years of experience in Singapore and South-east Asian healthcare markets, he has comprehensive expertise in both healthcare delivery and third-party administration (TPA) services.

Throughout his career, Dr. Lim has built extensive experience in partnership and channel development with key group insurance and broker partners at both Singapore and regional levels.

Dr. Lim has led numerous healthcare initiatives including COVID-19 response projects in support of the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Manpower. His previous experience includes working with EDB Investments where he focused on digital health and medical technology. He was also a part of the team that launched Singapore's National Electronic Health Record (NEHR).

In his current role as CEO HMI Singapore, Dr. Lim directly oversees the TPA, primary care, ambulatory care, and training arms of the business. He collaborates closely with the group's specialist services to support their growth plans, and aligning with HMI's focus on delivering value-based care in the community.
