    The HMI Group Whistleblowing Channel is an independent whistleblowing service managed by WhistleB, a global whistleblowing service provider and ethics & compliance expert founded in Stockholm, Sweden.

    The service is provided on behalf of all HMI Group entities, including without limitation, Health Management International Pte Ltd, Mahkota Medical Centre Sdn Bhd, Regency Specialist Hospital Sdn Bhd, StarMed Specialist Centre Pte Ltd and HMI Institute of Health Sciences Pte Ltd.

    We want to do what is right

    Health Management International Group (“HMI Group”) does not tolerate any malpractice, improprietary, statutory non-compliance or wrong-doings by any employees in the course of their work. HMI Group strives to maintain its highest possible standards of ethical, moral and legal business conduct and its commitment to open communication.

    We expect that all employees and relevant stakeholders live by the Group’s high ethical standards and blow the whistle if they experience anything within HMI companies that does not comply with laws, rules, regulations, or internal policies. Employees should raise concern about behaviours with their managers if such behaviours could be a potential risk to themselves, their colleagues, HMI Group companies’ businesses or reputation, or to any other stakeholder.

    What to report

    HMI Group takes whistleblowing very seriously and will review all reports and initiate an investigation where possible. Reports are completely confidential and you are not required to reveal your identity unless you choose to do so. HMI Group Whistleblowing is designed to receive disclosures relating to the matters below:

    1. Illegal activities, unethical and improper practices relating to financial and accounting matters and standards
    2. Non-compliance with laws or regulations
    3. Breach of policies and Code of Conduct
    4. Unsafe work practice or other serious improper conduct which endanger public health of safety
    5. Acts of retaliation, namely actions causing harm, intimidation or harassment, as well as discrimination or unfair treatment in relation to employment or career against staff who have made an allegation or assisted in the investigation of an allegation
    6. Any other conduct which may cause financial or non-financial loss to HMI Group and its subsidiaries or HMI Group and its subsidiaries’ reputation.

    Primarily we encourage you to contact your Human Resources Department/Supervisor in your organisation. If you feel you cannot be open with your information, we offer the option of reporting your concern anonymously.

    Your message will be securely handled

    The whistleblowing service is provided by an external partner WhistleB, Whistleblowing Centre, to ensure anonymity. The communication channel is encrypted and password-protected.

    All messages will be processed in confidence.
