Using MediSave in Malaysia for eligible treatments
Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents may use MediSave for eligible elective hospitalisation and day surgery at approved hospitals in Malaysia, subject to prevailing MediSave requirements and withdrawal limits.

Your guide to using MediSave at hospitals in Malaysia
Since 1 March 2010, HMI Medical has supported Singapore patients who wish to use MediSave for eligible treatment at:
Regency Specialist Hospital
Johor Bahru
Mahkota Medical Centre
Melaka
Both hospitals are part of HMI Medical, and have participated in Singapore's overseas MediSave arrangement since it began. Our HMI team in Singapore can guide you through the required referral, treatment arrangements and MediSave process.
Both hospitals are approved by the Ministry of Health, Singapore, for the use of MediSave. MediShield Life is not available for treatment at overseas hospitals.

The referral and MediSave process is the same at both Regency Specialist Hospital and Mahkota Medical Centre. Your consultation and treatment take place at the hospital in Malaysia; the MediSave steps are handled by HMI Patient Service Centre in Singapore.
Schedule a specialist consultation

- Singapore TOSP code for the planned procedure
- Total estimated cost
- Duration of hospitalisation
- Proposed date of surgery or admission
