Dr Diong obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from International Medical University, Malaysia in 2006. She pursued her interest in general surgery and obtained Doctor of General Surgery in 2015. She subsequently subspecialised in Thoracic Surgery which includes one year of clinical attachment in Koo Foundation Sun Yat-Sen Cancer Center, Taiwan. Dr Diong is a registered specialist in General Surgery and Thoracic Surgery.
