While wearing masks is no longer required under the temporary Covid-19 regulations, the MOH retains the practice of mask-wearing for visitors and patients in healthcare and residential care settings, where there is an interaction with patients and indoor patient-facing areas. You are encouraged to wear a mask outside your home especially if you are elderly or immuno-compromised, in crowded places, when visiting or interacting with vulnerable persons, or while you are unwell with Covid-19 symptoms or other respiratory infections.
